Personal tax FAQs

For most of personal tax is an ongoing chore. Unless we're super rich and permanently living on a yacht in international waters, we will be paying some level of personal tax.

This personal tax hits us in lots of ways. Council tax. Car tax. Inheritance tax (particularly painful and unfair in the eyes of many). Tax on property and tax on savings.

Much of this simply isn't optional, and we have to bear it. However, inheritance tax is a good example of how clever advice regarding tax can save you money - and also how bad advice could cost you money. In these situations speaking to a solicitor would be a positive action.
