Motorcycle accidents

Motorcyclists owe, and are owed, the same duty of care to other road users as car drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

Unfortunately, motorcyclists are vulnerable road users disproportionately represented in road accidents, and where accidents do occur the injuries can be much more severe. If you have been injured in a motorcycle accident you may be able to claim compensation if someone else was at fault.

We have set out here some common motorcycle accident questions, including statistics, common causes of accidents and when compensation may be able to be claimed.

If you would like to obtain legal advice on motorcycle accidents, or about compensation, we can put you in touch with a local specialist solicitor. Our service is free. So if you have any questions or would like our help in finding local accident compensation solicitors please call us on 0800 1777 162.
