Inheritance tax law

Inheritance tax is a very specific tax which may or may not be payable on the estate of someone who has died. There are also other circumstances in which it may be payable. Whether it needs to be paid or not depends on the value of the estate.

Alongside this there are various methods of circumventing inheritance tax, which, if used properly, can save you a great deal of money.

We have written more on the subject in the wills and probate area of law.
