Income tax law

Most of us are working employees of companies, and our income tax is worked out and deducted from our salaries by the company itself. The closest we get to taking control of income tax is to read our payslips, shake our heads and wonder where it all goes.

However, if you are self-employed, or fall within several other criteria such as having other means of earnings not included in PAYE, you will need to organise your income tax payments yourself. It is imperative that you do this, and speaking to a financial advisor or a tax solicitor will ensure that the process runs smoothly.

If you are looking for expert legal advice, please call us on 0800 1777 162 and let our experienced case handlers match you to the right solicitor for your needs. More legal information can be found in the articles on the right-hand side.
