Human rights and Sharia law FAQs

We are becoming more and more concerned with our own identity these days. Part of this is a reaction to the simple fact that the world is becoming smaller and smaller. Economic problems also exacerbate this concern, as problems in the EU polarise people.

This then becomes headlines as the Government rallies against 'EU interference', and human rights are a classic case.

The articles we have here discuss human rights, the European Court, British citizen prosecution overseas and more.

Linked to this is Sharia law. This is the legal system of Islam, and as such affects Muslims wherever they are in the world. This creates a clash with national legal systems, which makes for a very interesting situation. We work with many solicitors around the country who specialise in Sharia law.
