General tax law FAQs

Tax law information is ususally pretty specific, and is easily placed into categories. So, the general articles we have here are pretty niche, but if it's what you're looking for then that's fine!

Most articles in this section are on tax for expats, which can be a bit more convoluted than for regular citizens.

However, we also have articles on indirect tax and what that means, a general information article on the lottery and tax, the seriousness of tax fraud and a couple of general articles on tax and how a solicitor could help you with tax issues.

Most of the time you won't need a solicitor to help you with tax, but there will be instances when a solicitor could help you. Fraud issues are an obvious one, but it could simply be to get some advice that you can really rely on. If you feel that this could help you, call us on 0800 1777 162 or fill in our web-form and we will be able to put you in touch with a local solicitor.
