Discrimination and bullying FAQs

It is absolutely imperative that employees feel safe and happy in the workplace. We might not all love our work - we can't all be professional footballers or pop stars - but the working environment should be one in which we are treated equally and with respect.

Unfortunately, this isn't always the case.

Sometimes we feel like we've been belittled. Sometimes we feel like we we've been passed over for a promotion for a non-work related reason, or maybe we've been sacked whilst someone else of a different gender or race has remained. Was this fair?

It's important to understand what constitutes discrimination, bullying or harassment, and if any of those have occurred then we should be standing up for ourselves.
