The administrative procedures in divorce

There is such a large amount of administrative work involved in divorce that while we wouldn’t normally devote a section to it, for this area of law it made sense. There is a very specific procedure involved in filing for a divorce, and it is absolutely key to ensure that you get this right to save on costs and delays. It is also important as it is possible to do this yourself, although we wouldn’t recommend it. Assistance from a solicitor can ensure that there are no unnecessary delays and costs attached to the process.

Take a look at some of the pages to gather information on the papers you’re required to send to the courts and how you can do this. Remember that the divorce process is not simply about requesting the divorce from the court, but about amicable agreements with your spouse over the future.
